what is Loom Decor?

Loom Decor empowers you to create designer-quality, custom home textiles that won’t break your budget. From custom window treatments to pillows, bedding to table linens, our custom furnishings are all easily customizable with the click of a mouse. Choose from more than 400 gorgeous designer fabrics to create the perfect piece at up to 40% less than designer showroom prices. Your order will be handcrafted right here in the US and shipped to you in just 2 to 4 weeks. To learn more, read about us.

how do I get started creating custom decor?

There are three easy ways to shop and create at Loom:

  • Shop our catalog of Stylist-designed inspirations. You can edit them or order as is.
  • Create your own piece by choosing a blank silhouette and trying on different fabrics.
  • Pick a fabric then click the “See Furnishings In This Fabric” button to create a piece using that fabric.

Plus, if you are not sure what you want or how to begin, you can get complimentary design assistance from our Stylists any time.

does Loom have stores where I can shop in person?

We do not have a retail location at this time. However, you can order free swatches to make sure you love the color and pattern of a fabric in your home. Also, if you happen to be in Nashville, contact a Stylist and she can meet you in the location of your choice to look at our fabrics and review your project.

can I create a gift or bridal registry at Loom?

We do not currently have a gift registry on our site. However, you can easily add any Loom product to a common registry such as myregistry.com. Also, we are excited to announce that you can now register for Loom design packages at NewlyWish, a site where you can register for especially unique and stylish housewares and experiences.

can you help me choose my decor?

Yes! Loom offers complimentary design assistance, whether you want to design the perfect piece or coordinate a whole room of Loom textiles. Learn how a Loom Stylist can help. Or contact a Stylist via email or phone at 1-855-ASK-LOOM. Stylists are available Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

what kinds of questions and projects can a Stylist help with?

Stylists can help with anything from choosing the right fabric to measuring for window treatments to creating a moodboard for a whole room of coordinated pieces. For more on how we can help, read about our complimentary design assistance.

The only thing our Stylists can’t do is source or advise on items outside of Loom’s products. That’s really a job for an interior designer. We work with many great designers, though, so contact a Stylist and she may be able to recommend one in your area.

is working with a stylist really free?

Yes! Working with a Stylist is always free. You have unlimited access to our Stylists to help you choose the perfect Loom decor. No hidden fees or agendas!

what should I expect when I first connect with a stylist?

Your Stylist will likely ask a few key questions about your project including your style, color preferences, budget, and any special considerations. She also may request photos to help her visualize what will look best in your space.

can a Stylist come to my home?

Unfortunately, we're unable to make in-person home visits. However, we would be happy to set up a Skype, FaceTime, or Google Hangout session to see your house virtually!

products & fabrics

how do custom window treatments and furnishings differ from what I’d find in stores?

Our quality matches that of professional interior designers and luxury home furnishings brands, but at prices more typical of off the shelf products. How do we do it?

First, we take care to choose the finest quality fabrics from top interior designer brands such as Kravet. No flimsy fabrics here! To see for yourself, order free swatches.

Second, our products are handcrafted in the US with the same details designers specify in their work. For example, our window treatments are made with high quality lining, hidden hems, weights in the corners, and buckram stiffener at the top to help them hang more beautifully. And our pillows and duvet covers are designed to be plush and full, and to hide unsightly zippers.

Finally, you can choose special options on your window treatments like blackout lining and order completely custom sizes, so that you are sure to get the perfect fit.

can you make custom sizes that i don't see online?

Yes! We can make custom size drapery, Roman shades, bed skirts, and cushions. To order a custom size not available online, contact a Stylist.

can you come measure or install window treatments for me?

We can't make house calls, but we can still help. Send us a picture of your window and we’ll mark up exactly which measurements to take to ensure you get the perfect fit. In addition, we have a network of measure and installation professionals in many cities. Contact a Stylist for a recommendation in your area.

can you make custom furnishings not shown in your online catalog?

Yes, we can make some other custom furnishings. For example, we can make almost any drapery style including ripplefold drapery, pinch pleat drapery, tab back drapery, café curtains, and additional Roman shade styles. We also can make custom cushions for indoor and outdoor use. We do not, however, make furniture or other large items that have to be shipped with special delivery. If you have a project in mind, just check with a Stylist.

do you make custom furnishings with customers own material (com)?

Currently we do not make COM items. However, if this is something you are interested in, please email us your feedback so we can consider this as a new feature.

can I order fabric swatches for quality and color reference? how about larger memos?

Of course! The best part is our 4” x 4” fabric swatches are completely free, including the shipping. Just click “Order Free Swatch” to add samples to your cart while creating a product or “Order Swatch” as you browse fabrics. When you are ready, just proceed to checkout as usual. If your order total is $0.00, you will not be asked for a credit card. Your swatches should arrive via USPS in 3 - 5 business days.

Larger memos are available with a deposit that will be refunded upon the return of the memo. Please contact a Stylist to request a memo.

can I order fabric by the yard?

Yes, our fabrics are available by the yard. On any fabric page, select the number of yards you would like in the quantity field and click the “Add Yardage to Cart” button. When calculating the yardage you need, keep in mind our fabrics vary in width, although most are 54” wide. If you need help determining how many yards you need, please contact a Stylist.

Please note, the maximum continuous yardage varies per fabric between 30 and 60 yards. A Loom Stylist will contact you if the yardage will not be continuous.

how do I clean and care for my Loom furnishings?

For window treatments, we recommend periodic cleaning with a low-suction, hand-held vacuum, or dusting with a clean cloth or duster. For a deeper clean, we suggest hiring a professional window treatment cleaner.

For all other pieces, we highly recommend dry-cleaning to ensure they look beautiful for many years to come. Washing can cause fabrics to fade or bleed. Plus, different types of fabric shrink at different rates and could cause your item to look damaged or warped.

where are your products made?

Our products are handcrafted by our workroom in Nashville, TN, that has more than 17 years experience in making home furnishings and window treatments for top designers and hotels.


how long does it take to get my custom order?

We handcraft your custom pieces in just 5 to 15 business days. Fabric by the yard and gift cards ship one day after you order (unless fabric is out of stock). For specific estimated ship dates refer to the specific product page, your cart or your order review. If you choose free shipping, items will ship standard ground service (usually UPS) to arrive 3 to 5 business days after the item ships out.

can I expedite my order to get it faster?

In some cases we can expedite order production, subject to fabric availability and for an additional fee. If you need to place a rush order, please contact a Stylist.

You can also choose to expedite the shipping of your products by choosing UPS Next Day or UPS 2nd Day under the Shipping Methods section during checkout. You will need to enter your full address before these shipping methods will appear. Keep in mind that the item will not ship until the expected ship date listed.

can I place an order via phone or email?

You can place an order over the phone by calling 1-855-ASK-LOOM. However, sending your credit card information via email is not secure. If you need help creating or ordering an item, please contact a Stylist and she can add items to your cart for you. Then all you have to do is enter your credit card info to checkout online.

how do I get and/or use a coupon code?

For first time Loomers, we offer 10% off when you sign up for the Loom Letter. We also run various sales throughout the year. Be sure you don’t miss out by signing up for emails or following Loom on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

To apply your discount, just enter the coupon code at the bottom of your Shopping Cart. Only one discount code can be applied to each order.

when is my credit card charged?

Because we start making your custom items immediately, your credit card will be charged when your order is placed.

can I change or cancel my order once it’s been placed?

Custom orders may be canceled for a full refund within 24 hours of submitting the order. After this, we begin crafting your pieces, so any cancellations beyond this period would be considered a return. We can arrange at that time to stop production and issue you store credit. If you need to cancel an order, please contact a Stylist as soon as possible.


my swatches never arrived. can I track them? what should I do?

If it has been more than 5 business days (not including weekends and holidays), your samples are probably lost in the mail. Unfortunately, tracking is not available for swatch orders as they ship USPS. Contact a Stylist and we will priority ship new swatches right away.

what shipping options do I have and how much do they cost?

If you choose free shipping, your items will ship via standard ground service (usually UPS) for delivery in 3 to 5 business days.

You can choose to expedite the shipping of your products by choosing UPS Next Day or UPS 2nd Day under the Shipping Methods section during checkout. The shipping cost will vary based on the weight of your items. You will need to enter your full address before these shipping methods will appear.

how can I track my shipment?

When your order ships, we send you an email with the tracking number and ship date. Your tracking number can also be found on the order review page in your account. Unfortunately, tracking is not available for swatch orders since they ship USPS.

can I expedite my shipping?

You can choose to expedite the shipping of your products by choosing UPS Next Day or UPS 2nd Day under the Shipping Methods section during checkout. You will need to enter your full address before these shipping methods will appear. Keep in mind that the item will not ship until the expected ship date listed.

In some cases we can expedite order production, subject to fabric availability and for an additional fee. If you need to place a rush order, please contact a Stylist. Please keep in mind that we have no control over shipping delays due to the shipping service, weather, and the like.

Expedited shipping is not available to Canada. 

do you ship internationally?

We do offer shipping to Canada. For full details read our shipping information.

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to the U.S. Territories or foreign countries other than Canada at this time. If you have countries you would like to see Loom ship to, please email us with your suggestion.

can you ship to PO or APO boxes?

We cannot ship to PO or APO Boxes at this time.

returns & guarantee

what is Loom's return policy?

If you are not delighted with your Loom product (and haven’t used it of course!), we gladly accept returns within 60 days of receipt for full Loom credit. The return shipping is on us! Find out how to make a return.

how can I return my items?

To request a return, please complete this Return Request Form or call 1-855-ASK-LOOM. A return label for free return shipping will then be sent to you via email. Once the merchandise is received, your store credit will be processed and an email confirmation will be sent to you. You will be able to see your credit in your account and apply the credit during checkout.

Unfortunately, if you return an item using a non-Loom return label, we cannot pay for the return shipping or be responsible for any loss or damage to the returned item.

how can I change my personal account information?

Simply go to the Account link at the top of any page. In this section you can change all your information, including your default addresses, login information, and password.

how can I reset my password?

To reset your password, enter your account email address here. If there is an account associated with that email address, you will receive a link to reset your password via email. If you have any trouble contact a Stylist.

will you share my email address or mailing address with others?

Absolutely not! We aren’t fans of spam either, so we keep all email and mailing addresses private. You can review our full privacy policy here.

do you offer trade discounts?

Yes! We offer exclusive benefits for the design community including a trade discount and sales tax exemption. Our goal is to make your next project easier than ever. For full details and to join, please read more about our trade program.

who is eligible for the trade program and how do I join?

Interior designers, architects, and other design professionals in the US and Canada are eligible. For a list of qualifying documentation and to join, view the Loom Pro application.

can I still order online and receive my trade discount?

Of course! Our goal is to make your custom furnishings sourcing as easy as possible. Your discount will automatically be applied in your shopping cart.

Yes, and we think it's appropriate for every gift-giving occasion! You can purchase a gift card here.

how can i use my loom decor gift card?

To use your Loom Decor gift card, enter the code located on your card or in your email at the bottom of your shopping cart where it says "Enter a Gift Card Code."
