Nichole believes "at the end of the day, your home should feel like you." Through Loom Decor, she hopes to help people live these words in their own homes. With a head for numbers and a heart for design, Nichole joined Ashley, her best friend since high school, to build out the operations of Loom. She currently oversees finance, brand partnerships, customer service and operations in Nashville, TN.
Prior to Loom, Nichole oversaw the relaunch of Arena Football as the league’s Chief Financial Officer and worked in public accounting for mid-size manufacturing and retail companies. Originally from Cincinnati, she holds a Bachelors and Masters in Accounting from Miami University of Ohio.
Outside of work, Nichole enjoys event planning, thrift shopping for her home, and mastering new sports (her latest: tennis). Her signature look: mixing glitz and glam with flea market finds.
While at a top NYC interior design firm, Ashley was struck by the exclusivity of the industry, where designer fabrics & custom furnishings are available only to the trade and at prohibitive price tags. Armed with an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a background in design, Ashley set out to make designer quality, custom home decor accessible and affordable by founding Loom Decor.
At Loom, Ashley oversees strategy, marketing and technology, earning the site a spot in InStyle’s Best of Digital awards. Prior to starting the company, Ashley worked in strategy consulting and brand marketing. She holds a Bachelors in Business from Wake Forest University and has studied art and design at the Harvard School of Design and Pratt Institute, among other institutions.
On a personal note, Ashley recently became a new mom and bought her first home in Brooklyn, which she, not surprisingly, dedicates a lot of time to decorating. Her new style: "midcentury meets mom."
